Events Manager
(full-time, paid staff position, hiring immediately)

The Events Manager will oversee the logistical production of all Affiliate fundraising events including the development and management of volunteer event committees. The position reports to the Director of Development and requires excellent project management, reasoning, judgment, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The Events Manager trains, supervises and manages the Development Coordinator.

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience with successful track record in fundraising events management required. Experience in non-profit settings preferred.

Community Engagement Intern
(Volunteer, part-time, thru June 30, 2013)

Community Engagement intern will provide support to the Sistas Race for the Cure Komen Puget Sound Affiliate Race team. The goal of the Sistas Race for the Cure team is to raise awareness of breast cancer in the Black community. The intern will assist with special events, recruitment strategies, community outreach initiatives, media and communications. This is an unpaid temporary position part-time April 1, 2013 (or sooner) through June 30, 2013.
