The Development Manager will oversee the Affiliate’s corporate relations portfolio and orchestrate and ensure the successful production of the Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure®, the Affiliate’s largest annual fundraising and public awareness campaign.
The position reports to the Director of Development and requires excellent project management, reasoning, judgment, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. The development manager will have successful experience in new business development and is responsible for overseeing the solicitation and confirmation of corporate support for the Affiliate. The development manager must have operational and supervisory skills, the ability to assemble and lead effective teams and build and maintain successful relationships with sponsors, donors, vendors and other constituents.

The Development Coordinator is a member of the development team and is responsible for providing administrative and event support to ensure the overall success in meeting the fundraising goals for the Affiliate. The development coordinator is primarily responsible for the coordination and production of the annual Lunch for the Cure and Power of a Promise Luncheons.
The development coordinator assists in the coordination and production of the annual Race for the Cure and Grace Notes Gala in connection with the development manager and another development coordinator. The development coordinator provides overall administrative support to the Director of Development and serves as administrator for donor stewardship and cultivation programs. The development coordinator serves in a support function for third-party fundraisers, and is the Affiliate point of contact for national cause marketing programs with local presence to ensure Affiliate participation and payouts.
