Update: Komen National Amends Grant Making Criteria

We appreciate the questions, concerns and the support Komen Puget Sound has received regarding the National office of Susan G. Komen for the Cure's decision to amend their grant making criteria by not funding applications made by organizations under investigation. This morning, the National Komen office announced they are tightening this criteria so that disqualifying investigations must be criminal and conclusive in nature, and not political.
Now is the time to refocus our efforts back on our mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Let’s move forward together for the good of the women we serve.
