Step One: Verify the company has a matching gift program
You can check our list of potential matching gift companies or contact the company directly. Our 501(c)(3) number is 91-1624040.

Step Two: Request a Matching Gift
After you have made an online, check or cash donation, you need to initiate the matching gift process with your company.  

It is very important that you designate “Susan G. Komen PUGET SOUND Race for the Cure” as the recipient of the matching gift (with the recipient address of 112 Fifth Ave N, Seattle WA 98109 and Tax ID 91-1624040), not “Susan G. Komen for the Cure®” or “Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®” or any Susan G. Komen event or affiliate.

Donors requesting matching gifts online will need to indicate the name of the participant they are supporting to ensure they receive credit for the gift.

Step Three: Processing
Depending on the employer's processing time it can take up to three months for the Race to receive and process matching gifts before they are posted to your Participant Center under My Progress - Donation History.
