National Spotlight

Who are you running for? — Join in the fight against breast cancer by running a full or half marathon through Marathon for the Cure™

Rally for the Cure — Golf, tennis, dinner events and so much more...

A brand to trust — We are honored that Susan G. Komen for the Cure® ranked number one in a recent Harris Interactive poll as the most valued non-profit brand and the charity people are most likely to donate money to. Additionally, Komen for the Cure ranked second on the 2010 list of the nation’s most trusted charities. Thank you to all who help us daily in the fight to end breast cancer!

Survivors

Add a photo to our survivor slide show.

From the moment a person's breast cancer diagnosis is confirmed, she or he is considered a survivor. Race day is an opportunity for us to recognize our survivors for their bravery, and to show them how much they are loved, cherished, and respected.

Pink T-shirt and Cap for Race Day
Breast cancer survivors are invited to wear a complimentary pink cap and t-shirt provided by Zeta Tau Alpha, National sponsor of the Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program. Identify yourself as a breast cancer survivor when you register for the Race. T-shirts will be mailed. Caps available for pick-up Race weekend.

Survivor Celebration
Survivors are invited to visit the Survivor Celebration Tent located on the Fisher Pavilion rooftop for sparkling cider, pastries, goodie bags, travel prizes, a photo-op and an excellent view of the Race Day festivities! The celebration tent will open at 7:00 am.

Survivor Parade
Gather in front of the Survivor Celebration Tent on Fisher Pavilion at 10:30 am. Parade starts at 10:45 am.

Top Fundraising Survivor Award
The top fundraising survivor will be recognized on Race Day (deadline to qualify May 31).

Tribute Wall Race Tribute Wall
You are invited to celebrate a survivor or remember a loved one lost by sharing their photo and a message on our Tribute wall. Photos can be brought on Race Day, or sent in advance to tribute@pskomen.org or Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure, Attn: Tribute, 112 Fifth Ave. N, Seattle, WA 98109. We regret that we will not be able to return photos.

Back Signs
As a tribute to survivors and those lost to the disease, "In Memory of" and "In Celebration" of back signs will be available at t-shirt pick-up, on Race Day, or can be downloaded and printed before the event.
