• Team Captains must register first, to create your team
• Choose “Form a Team” and follow the instructions.
• Once you “Form a Team,” login to your Participant Center and email prospective team members and invite them to join your team.

Be the winning team to raise the most funds online (bold) between May 10th and May 16th at midnight! Your competition: 425 other passionate team captains. Will you be the winning captain?
Largest Team and Top Fundraising Team Awards
Awards will be presented to the largest teams and the top fundraising teams in each of our team categories: Friends/Family, Community/Nonprofit, Government, Company, Healthcare, and Education.
Largest Team Awards will be presented on Race Day after the Survivor Parade. Make sure to stick around to see if your team has won!
To qualify for a Top Fundraising Award, donations must be submitted online by June 27, 2010 (3 weeks post Race). Donations made by mail must include a 2010 Race Fundraising Form and be postmarked by June 14, 2010 to qualify for a Fundraising Prize. The Top Teams Fundraising Awards will be presented four weeks after the Race once all donations have been submitted and counted.
Team Captain T-Shirt Pick Up
Team captains can pick up their team members’ t-shirts, race bibs, and survivor t-shirts and hats.
When: SATURDAY, MAY 29TH
Hours: 10am – 2pm
Location: Road Runner Sports, 7020 Woodlawn Ave. NE, Seattle
Please Note: Participants must pick up their T-shirt and bib at the Komen Puget Sound Health Expo on Saturday, June 5 at Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. T-shirt pick up on Race Day will only be available to Day-of-Race registrants.
Team T-Shirt Delivery
If your team has raised $5,000 or more or has over 50 registered members by the May 27 deadline (May 12 for mail in registration), you can have your
-shirts and bibs delivered to your door! To request delivery, please email us at teams2010@pskomen.org. Team deliveries will be made the week prior to the Race.
NEW: Rally with your Team on Race Morning!
If you want a fun and exciting place to rally your team on Race morning the Team’s Tailgating Area is the place for you! Teams may use this area before and after the Race. Details coming soon.
NEW: Purchase a Team Poster for Race Day
Race participants have the opportunity to purchase a personalized, laminated, 11x17 Team poster with their team name and a personal message printed on it. The deadline to purchase posters is May 28, 2010. Posters will be available for pick up on Race day at Registration. Buy Now (link)
Company Paid CodesIs your company willing to financially support your team at the Race for the Cure? Companies may opt to pay for all or a portion of their team members’ registration fees all at once. Please download the contract and email or fax in to the Komen Puget Sound office to apply for a Company Paid Code prior to setting up your team.

Congrats to Team Captain, Julie Layton, as she pulled together her network and organized a garage sale, car washes and even got their team into the Snohomish Easter Parade.
