Paying Tribute to Loved Ones on Race Day
Many Race for the Cure participants are running in memory of, or in celebration of, a loved one who has been affected by breast cancer. We encourage participants to recognize those loved ones on Race Day, and we have several opportunities for you to do so.
“In Celebration of” & “In Memory of” Back Signs
Participants are invited to recognize special people in their lives with our free-of-charge “In Memory of” and “In Celebration of” back signs. Look for these small, pink, customizable signs in the Fisher Pavilion registration area on Race day. We encourage you to wear the sign(s) on your back along the Race route.
Thank you to Zeta Tau Alpha, National Sponsor of the Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program for making this tribute option available on Race day!
Laminated Tribute Posters Race participants have the opportunity to purchase a personalized, laminated, commemorative 11x17 poster with their honoree’s name and a personal message printed on it. The deadline to purchase posters is May 28, 2010. Posters will be available for pick up on Race day at Registration. Order Now

In the body of the email, say the photo is for Flickr and write the description of your photo, your first and (optional) last name. Let us know if you want it to be added specifically to the following albums:
• Breast Cancer Survivor Album
• Breast Cancer Tribute Album
• Race for the Cure Puget Sound
When you hit "Send" the photo will be added to the Komen Puget Sound Flickr page and the “Susan G. Komen for the Cure Puget Sound” group photo pool.
