Local women share their breast cancer stories.
These short videos were created by women served by Komen Puget Sound grantee organizations. Others were created by the grantees themselves. Partnering with Creative Narrations, Komen Puget Sound trained the grantee organizations in how to create these digital stories with the purpose of increasing breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.

Basha shares her story of her pet cat, Sebastian, who has given her strength and courage to keep fighting after a second breast cancer diagnosis. Sebastian has been with her since her first diagnosis, and she feels he is like her guardian angel constantly watching over her. Watch Video

The Washington Breast Cervical and Colon Health Program (BCCHP) is examined. The BCCHP provides life-saving cancer screening services at no cost to eligible uninsured women, 40-64 years old. Komen Puget Sound has funded BCCHP since its inception. Watch Video
